Every racer has their own goals, but when the homestretch comes into view, we all dream of the same thing: Finish strong. Finish fast. And we're gonna help you do just that, while paving the way for young runners to follow in your footsteps.
Sign up for The Last Mile and you’ll get a free Summit trial to arrive at the starting line in peak condition, and if your last mile split is your fastest, you’ll unlock a $10 donation to youth running organizations around the world (up to a combined total of $50,000).
You're part of a community that's 40 million strong – and together we can make a big difference.
Strava runners are everywhere, and there are amazing organizations that support young runners all around the world, too. So to be sure our support reflects our global community we’ll send donations to Girls on the Run, The Running Charity, Freunde der Leichtathletik, Mécénat Chirurgie Cardiaque, Associació Esportiva Ciutat Vella, Instituto HF, United Sports Foundation.
When you pledge to empty the tank on your last mile, you’ll get 30 free days of features designed to get you to the line strong so you can finish even stronger. Summit helps you make the most of your training with in-depth analysis tools you can use to review your efforts and track your fitness on the run up to race day.Start Your Free Trial
Pace Analysis gives in-depth breakdowns of your splits and how much time you spent in each pace zone – a great tool to set a target pace for race day.
Am I training too much? Not enough? Take out the guesswork with Relative Effort – a heart-rate metric that tracks the intensity of your activities over time and across sport types.
Working out just by feel or pace can be risky business. Nail that next training run with Heart Rate Zones that help you hit your “just right” tempo.
You have to run a half or full marathon between April 11 and June 30 – you can run as many as you like but only the the race where your last mile is your fastest will trigger a donation. We love other race distances, but this challenge is just for half and full marathons in the US, UK, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, France, Spain, Brazil and Japan.
What else? Well, don't forget that your race has to be uploaded to Strava (remember: tag it as a race!), so you'll also need a Strava account before you run. You must authorize your account and share your race date and distance upon signing up. If you’re not a Summit member, you’re also eligible to get a 30-day free trial membership.
That's it! Get out there, make your last mile your fastest mile, and enjoy the spring race season.
